In one sentence The role involves handling incidents and service requests from customers/end-user by following the standard methods and procedures of the unit. What will your job look like? To provide high quality and excellent support services to the customers Ensuring customers are well informed regarding the progress and resolution of support tickets Ensuring the quality of support ticket, case management and escalations for continuous improvement of response and resolution times To do in-depth technical analysis to resolve complex and critical issues Conducting knowledge transfer periodically to increase the technical competency of the team member Constantly liaise with R&D team to discuss escalation tickets, bugs and feature request Take ownership of problem tickets, perform ticket analysis, conduct in-depth troubleshooting, provide solution to customers and drive ticket to closure within SLA Perform periodic software system operations including patching or upgrading to new version, performing health check and other configuration changes which meet customer business requirement All you need is 2 Years of experience in supporting J2EE Application Experienced in the installation, configuration and administration of application Servers (JBoss), deploying proprietary middleware software solution and capable of troubleshooting problems and performance issue Hands on experience in J2EE Server Technologies such as Java, JSP / Servlet, and EJB, JVM, Web Services, SOAP Working knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server 2003/2008, Linux Knowledge on Oracle Database (RAC & Exadata), in terms of administration, monitoring DB health and troubleshooting performance issue Knowledge of how the Internet works (HTTP and DNS, Browser, WebServers Programming knowledge and experience (shell scripting / Powershell / Java / HTML / XML / PL-SQL Fluent in English. Working & operational knowledge of Windows & Linux OS. Hands on experience in J2EE Server Technologies such as Java, JSP / Servlet, and EJB, JVM, Web Services, SOAP. Why you will love this job?
